Director N. Chandra is ready with his next venture Breaking News. "It will be ready for release by the end of August. I have always been making issue-based films. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail. It’s not a new subject though it’s an unusual script," he says.

The director completed the film in one and a half months. "The film is about the world we live in and the biases we garner in life. Topics such as casteism, Hindu-Muslims stereotyping, migrants etc. have formed the core of the film. The movie also shows that ultimately only humanity survives, nothing else. It is an absolute entertainer. I have wonderful actors like Anupam Kher, Rajat Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Perizaad, Atul Kulkarni, Vijay Raaz and Seema Biswas playing various parts in the film. Sarika plays the role of a socialite," he elaborates.
