Deepa Mehta is all set to make new film on domestic violence titled Heaven on Earth.

The film is based on real story of Amardeep, a Punjabi woman married in Toronto. Deepa last year made a documentary on her life and is now planning to make a film on domestic violence which Amardeep suffered.

Shooting of the film will take place in Ludhiana, Punjab.

Deepa has not yet finalized the lady for Amardeep role but she will choose one from Punjabi actresses and for husband role she has picked NRI theatre actor Vrajendar.

Film is scheduled to go on floors on October, 20 in Toronto.
