 Looks like model-turned- actress Deepika Padukone provides enough fodder for the gossip mills. Insiders are saying that ever since director Farah Khan has signed Deepika to play the lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, the model-turned-actress has developed an attitude and is flying high already.
Whispers also have it that Deepika reportedly gave a tough time not only to a charity organisation who had approached her for a fashion show but also a top director who wanted to cast her in the lead for his next film. Revealed a source, "Yes it is true that a charity organisation had approached Deepika for a fashion show to be held abroad on June 29 and 30, but she put forward some of the most unreasonable conditions."
The source said that Deepika demanded two first class return tickets from New York to the destination where the fashion show was to be held. "The fashion show was for a charity organisation and the demand for first class return tickets, that too for two persons. was found to be unreasonable. Her next demand made our hearts skip a beat. Deepika demanded such an astronomical amount for the show that the organisers had to replace her." |
