 Golden couple Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor recently had to face a scare while shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s untitled film. The location shoot at a public place in Shimla was stopped due to milling crowds and the actors had to be bundled away from the spot as things got out of control till the cops arrived. A spokesperson for Ashtavinayak confirms, "Suddenly there was a sea of people. They would just not let the actors perform. We had to quickly get Kareena and Shahid away as things were getting out of hand.
The shoot had to be stopped for that day." Adds a source close to Shahid, "The incident happened at the Shimla railway station which was initially secluded and quiet but in an hour’s time, as word spread that a shoot was to happen there, people started pouring in. Shahid and Kareena had to be escorted to the waiting rooms and locked in. The cops arrived and dispersed the crowd and they resumed shooting only to be stopped again."
According to the source, this was not an isolated incident. "It happened wherever they went. It could also be that such areas don’t chance upon big stars so they go berserk. In Patiala too, there was an exterior shot which had to be cancelled due to crowds."
