Kareena Kapoor: Bollywood starlet Kareena Kapoor has confirmed that her three-year relationship with actor Shahid Kapur is over, ending weeks of speculation about her romantic life, a newspaper reported Friday.

"Three years ago when we met, I flaunted my relationship and my focus got diverted," Kapoor told the newspaper. Now, "I am in the best phase of my career and I want to make the best of it."Kapoor's most recent hit was "Omkara," a Bollywood version of Shakespeare's "Othello."Kapoor said she was seeing someone new — the Indian media has linked her with well-known actor Saif Ali Khan — but Kapoor wouldn't name names.

"I'm not single," she said.Her plan now was to focus on her career. "This is the new Kareena, married to her work for the next five years," she said. "I am a very passionate and ambitious girl."Kapoor and Kapur star in a new love story that is to be released next week called "Jab We Met" or "When We Met."
