Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and their banner Karol Bagh have joined hands with UTV to co-produce market and distribute all their productions. Karol Bagh will focus on creative development and line production.

Anupam says, "Two films have already been finalised. The first to be launched will be Hawai Dada to be directed by Ajay Kartik. It is a lovely script about an old man and his relationship with his grand daughter. I will be directing my next film titled Dosti Badi Cheez Hai which has been scripted by Neeraj Pandey. It is based on the theme of friendship."

Speaking about his banner he says, "Satish and I have been friends for a long time and so we started our banner. We had collected a lot of scripts over the years and have reworked on them, but didn’t have the infrastructure to take it forward. UTV will help us to take them on a global platform. We will be the content provider company. "
