Ever since a tabloid came out with the headline Koena Shot, the actress’ phone hasn’t stopped ringing.  "People came to the conclusion that Koena had been shot by some don in broad daylight and from the time the news saw the light of day in print, she has been inundated with calls," revealed a source. "Friends and well-wishers called to ask if she was okay and hoped that the actress had not suffered any grave injury," the source added.

The article was actually about two miscreants who shot photographs of Koena sunbathing at a restricted area in a five-star hotel. The duo then walked upto the actress asking her to say something over the phone but an irate Koena threw their cellphone in the pool.  Koena, however, has handled all the calls with calm and ease. The source said, "Their genuine concern for her touched Koena and she assured them that she was alright and the misleading headline was the source of confusion. But she was really moved by all the calls she got."
