Meera:Mahesh Bhatt has signed Pakistani actress Meera for their forthcoming film Shohrat- The Dark Side of Fame.

Film Shohrat is inspired from English film Sunset Boulevard. The script writer Shagufta Rafigue is working on story and film will be on floors by December.

Mahesh Bhatt is trying to depict the darker side of bollywood with casting couch, street fights, sexual betrayals and cat fights. The focus of the story is on a leading actress who has top suffer a lot in real life and is not happy with her fame and name.

Pakistani actress Meera will be playing the lead role while lead male actor has yet to be decided. Bhatts are deciding over Muzamil Ibrahim and Emraan Hashmi for role.
