Finally can boast of signing a big banner film. The actress is excited as she shoots for producer Rakesh Roshan’s Crazy Four opposite Irrfan Khan and Arshad Warsi. But Rakhi is not too forthcoming with details about the film and the role. "After braving all odds and doing C-grade films, I have finally signed a big banner film today. I will be dancing with a big time hero. I have started shooting. You will know the details soon," says the actress. The film is being directed by Jaideep Sen.
"I am going to do all big banner films henceforth. I am open to playing any character. I am a good actress and can perform any role with ease," she adds. The actress is also looking forward to Rahul Rawail’s Buddha Mar Gaya, where she will be sharing screen space with talented actors like Prem Chopra, Om Puri and Anupam Kher. "Watch out for my role in the film. It is good and the character that I play will surely be a role to look forward to. I kill all the old men who are after young girls in the film," she reveals.
"I am a bold and beautiful girl in the film who is ready to compromise for money," she says. But what about real life, is she ready to compromise for roles too, we ask her. "No, I won’t, and if I had done that, I would be a top heroine today. I would be working with A-grade actors. Life has been a struggle and it took me eight years to reach here. My role is not like the real me. In the film I am made to wear revealing clothes, whereas, in real life, I refuse to wear such clothes. Rahul told me that the look goes with the character I portray, and I couldn’t refuse. In fact, my skirt and hair got burnt in a sequence, yet I went ahead and completed the shooting," says Rakhi.
