Riya Sen and Geeta Basra are all set to do their bit not only for AIDS victims but also to bring about a general awareness amongst the people.  Taal, an AIDS organisation, has approached Riya and Geeta to carry out campaigns in Pune and Kalyan respectively. Confirming the news Geeta said, “I am going to actively participate in bringing about AIDS awareness for Taal. It is a through a friend that the organisation approached me and I was more than willing to help them with their cause.” Geeta said that besides encouraging donations she was also going to make people aware of what AIDS was actually all about. “I want to break this myth that those who suffer from AIDS cannot be touched. It is just not true. I have seen educated people discriminating against patients who have been affected by AIDS. I genuinely want to do my bit for this cause.”
