Rupa Ganguly helps Anjan with Bow Barracks |

 Rupa Ganguly is always known to help her friends in trouble. When director Anjan Dutt was looking for an intense performer for a cameo in Bow Barracks Forever, she readily stepped in to help him out. She would also be present at the sets happily helping the entire unit to understand the dialect and participate in workshops.
When the director required a small girl child to play the role of her daughter, Rupa again helped him. She spoke to her friend in Kolkata and coaxed her daughter to play the part. Says Rupa, “The part was very sensitive and required the child to be always withdrawn and be with the mother, so Anjan and I decided that a child who is known to me would be able to understand and play the part better. I asked my friend to let her daughter play my daughter in Bow Barracks Forever.”
