Though Raqeeb and Good Boy Bad Boy have failed to make a mark at the box office, they have not dampened the spirit of Tanushree Dutta. This dusky beauty is now bouncing back with two films Priyadar-shan’s Dhol and Vikram Bhatt’s Speed. She is confident that she will make a mark in the industry some day. When asked how the journey has been so far, Tanushree says, "Wonderful! I have made my presence felt and am getting good films. It has been an enriching journey. I love this phase, and am completely satisfied with my growth as an actress."

Speaking about her films she says, "Dhol is a rollicking comedy and I am the only one who has a serious role in the film. I am pitted against four heroes who try and distract my attention. I play a simple town girl who rides a Scooty to work. Speed is a multistarrer and this is the first time that I am doing such a film. I had signed this film when I signed Chocolate." She adds, "The film was completed recently. As the shooting for this movie went on for long, right from the time I completed my first film, to the recent Raqeeb, you will find me plump in some scenes and see my new toned look in the others."
