Emraan Hashmi looks forward to his forthcoming releases, the first two after his marriage, The Train and Good Boy Bad Boy. In The Train he plays the good boy and in the latter he plays the bad boy. When asked about his life after marriage the actor smiles and says, "I was a bad boy but am turning good now." He adds, "Life after marriage has definitely changed but I have not changed as a person. I get more time to concentrate on my work. I don’t have to think of waiting for my girlfriend or going to meet her. She is now at home, nor do I have to make those long phone calls."
Speaking about The Train he says, "I play an advertising professional who is married and has a daughter. He commutes through the train everyday. His marriage is facing problems and one day he happens to meet a girl. The association with her deepens and everything goes topsy turvy. He ends up losing his wife and daughter." Emraan has deviated from the role of a lover boy to that of a father with this film. "I was very nervous in the beginning since this was the first time I interacted with a child in the film. She was very quick and grasped her lines immediately and that really made me nervous. It was an unique experience though," he shares. Emraan, who promised to do away with kissing his heroines on screen, has once again played the role of a kisser in The Train. "I consciously decided to do away with this image after marriage but Raksha and Hasnain, the directors of the film, convinced me. I achieved fame because of that image and consciously tried to give it a boost by wearing the T-shirt of a serial kisser in Jawani Diwani. But now I am trying to break away from that stereotype and explore new territories," says the serial kisser. While Good Boy Bad Boy is slated for release on May 11, The Train follows on May 11. "Both the genres are varied, the stories are different, my appearance in these two films is different as well. While Good Boy Bad Boy is a fun film, The Train is a thriller," he says. |
