Bobby Deol is excited with the four projects that he has in hand now. There’s Naqaab, Nanhe Jaisalmer, Ek and Roshan. A star, who normally keeps to himself, Bobby is now almost child-like, while speaking about his interesting films. Roshan, he says, is a film with a message. “It’s all about how strong an imagination can get. It’s a sweet film being directed by Sameer Karnik. The boy, who is the protagonist in Nanhe Jaisalmer is working with me in this film too. It’s not a sequel to Nanhe. I am part producing Nanhe,” he says. In Naqaab he plays a multimillionaire. “It is an edge-of-the-seat thriller and Abbas-Mustan are the masters in this genre. The suspense is there from the beginning. It will shock the audience. My character has shades of grey. The film revolves around the three main characters. Each one has a past. If revealed, it will shatter their lives forever. This story has been taken from day-to-day life,” says Bobby.
This is Bobby’s fourth film with Abbas-Mustan. “I wish I could go on doing films with them. They are so humble and nice, and treat me like a younger brother,” he adds. Bobby’s styling for the movie has been done by Falguni and it is said that his wardrobe cost Rs 50 lakhs. When enquired, Bobby laughs and says, “That’s Falguni’s department. But, yes, I love brands and I am sporting a lot of them in the film. I am always the rich guy in films and I don’t know why. I wear good suits and drive Aston Martins. Falguni has done a fantastic job though. As my character requires a rich look, she has given a different look to the suits, which I wear in the film,” he adds. He has once again shared screen space with Akshaye Khanna after Humraaz. “Yes I am excited to do a film with him again. He is such a straight forward and genuine guy. We get along very well,” he adds. |
