Gulzar was at whistling woods international, located in film city, Mumbai to conduct a special two hour class for media and film making students. The special lecture was attended by all students and teachers informed not even a single student of institute was absent. During his class, Gulzar explained primary variance in arts and script writing, lyric writing, and dialogue writing. He guided students well with techniques and references from film as Bandini, Hu Tu Tu and Maachis. Gulzar planted a tree on whistling woods campus ground on request of students and tree was christened as “Gulzar Tree of Knowledge”. Gulzar discussed drastic changes in Indian cinema and emphasized significance of language accuracy in films.
