Pritish got remake rights of Sholay |

Pritish Nandy acquired the official rights to remake Ramesh Sippy’s hit film Sholay. Ram Gopal Verma couldn’t get official rights but Pritish Nandy has successfully obtained rights. They are not planning to make a film but are planning for an animation format with inclusion of prequel and sequel of Sholay.Pritish Nandy’s production company is going to make sequels of two films- Sujoy Ghosh’s Jhankaar Beats and Saket Chowdary’s Pyaar Ke Side Effects. Pritish Nandy Company is happy as well as proud for the deal. They will be initiating the work in few weeks after handling all details. First screenplays will be finalized and then cast, directors and crew will be decided.
