 Priyadharshan is well known for his comedy films.This is a movie which is a remake of "Manichitrathazu" starring Mohanlal and Shobana.This is later remaked into kannada where late Soundarya lead the title role.Then it is agin remaked in tamil in which super star Rajinikanth and Jyothika played the lead roles.
Now it is again remaked in the hands of Priyadarshan in hindi in which Vidya Balan and Akshay kumar playing the lead roles.The movies of malayalam,kannada and tamil are serious suspense thrillers by also havin small comedy bits but director priyadarshan din't like it in a serious way so he is going to mould it into a comedy cracker.director is confident the movie is a boxoffice block buster.
