If things move as planned, Shahid Kapur and father Pankaj are all set to work together for a film. The script is being penned by director Rajkumar Santoshi.  Santoshi reportedly has already had talks with Shahid and Pankaj and expressed his keenness to work with the two. Confirming the news Shahid says, “Yes, Santoshi wants to cast my father and me together. But it is too early to divulge any information right now.”

Shahid said that other filmmakers too had approached him earlier expressing the idea of casting the father-son duo together but somehow things had not worked out between them. “Santoshi is an established director and an actor would do anything to work with him. The fact that he wants to cast my father with me, is like an icing on the cake. The chance to work with my father is like a dream come true for me,” says the actor.
