UTV launches sister concern |

UTV launched its sister concern called Spotboy, second motion picture brand to widen its horizon. UTV that recently backed films like Rang De Basanti, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Metro, The Namesake and I Think I Love My Wife and also has international tieups with ace Hollywood actor Will Smith and director Manoj Night Shyamalan, will now also make film under the banner of Spotboy.
Ronnie Screwvala, CEO, UTV said that one of the reasons to have launched Spotboy was to keep pace with their growing business. “Spotboy will takeover some of our existing projects. Films with fresh content will also be launched under this banner. It will also help bring various film deals to the same studio under a different name,”said Mr Screwvala
