Bollywood Box Office:India is considered to be one of the biggest producer of Hindi movies every year . Normally around 1000 plus small and big budget Bollywood movies release in a year. And some make it up to the theatres and some are still in the boxes waiting for the distributors boon.

So let us have a glimpse of the top 5 movies, which are being screened this weekend in. 

The first in the top 5 list is  Om shanti Om . this film is rocked by Shah Rukh Khan and it has the debutant Deepeka Padukone as a lead heroine.

This film is  produced by Yash Raj Film and Farah khan is the director.  

OSO depicts the story of a hero of 1970’s and who falls in love with a top heroien. But before expressing it he dies unfortunately. The rest of the story is how the hero takes rebirth and how he reconciles everything and how he gets back his love.  

This film was released on Diwali {9th November} and is said to be mega hit in king khan’s career and also is making a mark in the bollywood’s box office history . it has collected a collection 4,44,83,205 rupees and the total collection in three weeks has reached the sum of 31,90,56,995 rupees which happens to be a whooping sum .  

The second film in India’s top 5 is Dhan Dhana Dhan –Goal. This features Boman irani,John Abraham,Arshad warsi and Bipasha basu . vivek agnihotri is the director of this film and utv is the producer of this film .  

This film is about a sinking football club in London, which has to be revived financially, and the only source is by winning a championship of football, which will make the club again stand tall. So Bomanirani and Arshad warsi along with the hero John achieve success after a lot of hurdles. This film is exactly released after the Chak De and seems that the audience are showing a lot of interest in sports oriented subjects.  

This film was released on 23 November and the 1^st week collection of this film amounts to 10 ,31 ,68 ,271 which is also the total collection in rupees all over the world.  

The third movie on the rise of India’s top 5 movies is Jab wee met. This movie features shahid kapoor and kareena as hero and heroine and the magic of their once upon time love is still working. This film was released on 26 October and Imtiyaz ali is the director of this film .  

The story is about a young guy who has lost his love and is very distressed and he happens to meet a bubbly girl who happens to be the heroine and the rest is love+ love +love. This film is beautifully carved with international locales and of course the off screen love between shahid and kareena was also a added flavor to this film. This film is continuously liked by the people inspite of many films being released. This film is in its 5^th week and this weeks collection amounts to 87, 22, 276 rupees and the total sum is   12, 16 ,92, 270 rupees which is a good amount and also says about the quality of the film .  

The 4^th film which is in India’s top 5 movies is Saawariya which was also released on 9^th November i.e Diwali date . this film stars two debutants Ranbhir and Sonam kapoor . Sanjay Leela Bhansali of Devdas fame has directed this movie . This was much hyped before its release but the dull story line of a rich boy falling in love with a simple girl has failed totally to woo the audience. Its 3^rd week collections are 32, 04,320 rupees and the overall collection is 11, 36, 93, 300 rupees. 

The lat but not the least is the film Bhool Bhulaiya that is in its 7^th week. This film is a hit as Akshay Kumar is the lead hero. The story line of this film is superb and well weaved. This film was released on 12^th October and has collected the sum of 12,73,230 rupees this weekend and the overall collection amounts to 24,33,11,020 rupees. This film is said to be drawing full crowds in the 7^th week also. Priyadarshan is the director of this film.
