What is the employment outlook for recent
graduates in chemical engineering (US)? I graduated in May 2004. I have had a couple of serious interviews, but it seems like there are a lot of applicants for a few "entry-level" jobs.There are a lot of job openings for people with 3+ years of experience. But if I can't get a job, I can't get any experience. Is the movement of so many manufacturing jobs overseas causing an oversupply of engineers here in the US? Should I just plan to seek work in some other field?
