Anil role in Tashan resembles Lakhan

Anil Kapoor is playing an autorickshaw driver in Yash Raj’s forthcoming film Tashan also starring Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Anil, who has been experimenting with his looks and roles right from his Viraasat days, will also be sporting long hair and a big moustache for this character.

A unit source informs us, "Anil is sporting two looks in the film — one with long hair and a big moustache and the other has a sauve appearance with a clean shaven, tattooed chest. He plays an autorickshaw driver from Kanpur who strikes gold in a big city through crime. His character is not entirely negative but has a few shades of grey, just like the characters of John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan in the Dhoom series. They played characters on the wrong side of the law but they were not villains in the film. The character was written by writer Vijay Krishna Acharya who turns director with Tashan. Acharya kept Anil in mind while sketching out the character."

Acharya had earlier said that he had loved Anil’s Lakhan character and his look in Subhash Ghai’s Ram Lakhan. The look in this film resembles Lakhan look a lot.
