Why is Saif insecure?

Wonder what it is that gets Saif so finicky about the projects he takes up? If he is just trying to behave like one of the super stars, then I think he needs to try harder. Just recently I read an article that he turned down Karan Johar’s film as Abhishek and Ash Bachchan were also apart of the project.
