Default This question is for Malayalee boys...is it

mandatory for your future Mallu wife to know and speak Malayalam? For those of you who are clueless (even Indian-descent people, gasp!) Malayalees are people derived from Kerala in Southern India, besides the Tamilians, Telegus etc.I am surprised even the Malaysian haven't heard of us. I may be a Malaysian by birth, but I am of Malayalee Hindu descent. Mallu is the slang word to denote a Malayalee.I know and understand Malayalam perfectly, but if ask to converse, I would shoot blank stares and it takes me ages to put sentences together! However your answers (the best ones anyway) have reassured me that the knowledge of language is not as near important as to being the authentic person you are =) Thanks guys!!By the way I am not marrying anyone at the moment, it's just that I *have* come across some "inbred idiots" who required this condition and it just blew me away to see how ignorant they were about the real authentic stuff that makes a relationship work.

I'm a Malayalee who is married to a Finnish woman. No its not mandatory for your future mallu wife to know and speak malayalam what kind of inbred idiot are you marrying that would require this of a person? if you truly love someone race, religion are not important in the end its how strongly you feel about the person.

I am a Malayalee boy. I prefer a girl who can understand Malayalam. Ability to speak Malayalam is not necessary
