don't have a job right now? I thought I could extend my "vacation" by using maybe $10,000 of my $120,000 home equity to pay my bills for a couple more months. Everyone I have contacted says you must have income to get a loan. Oops! Any ideas? I will get a job, but need a month or two worth of cash.

I believe you can just apply for a loan and go "stated income" Some loan programs actually do not even require stated income verification. Of course as a result you will probably pay a few more points on the loan. If you are in california I can probably give you more information, in other states, you will need to look in your areas for the programs available there.
