I need a 3d Hardware Accelerator Card to run

the game "The Movies". Will this work? These 3 cards are on sale, so I was hoping to get one of these (it was bad enought I had to spend a ton on the game!!). I unfortunately know just about nothing about 3d cards, except how to install one. The answer is yes, barely. The MX4000 is just a repackaging of the old Geforce4 GPU. While officially unsupported for the game it should work. I don't know what your budget is for a card but I would consider at least a FX5700. A 64MB card won't get you far with modern games. However, getting back on subject, it will function adequately enough for the game. I realize it is cheap but you will lose some advanced features that may be present in the game such as pixel shaders and the like (if it has them).My suggestion is to go with another card, like the FX5700, 6600 or 6600GT depending on your budget.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ubCategory=48I won't give you a final recommendation because it is your money but I am a huge fan of the 6600GT, it is probably the best value for the money. Some might tell you to get a 256MB card but it would be wasted on this game. Besides the 6600GT has better performance than many 256MB cards anyway.Just because a card is "supported" doesn't mean it will run the game well. It might run the game but it will not run it well.
