It all depends on what the script calls for (i.e. number of actors, special effects, customes, props, location) and whether or not you have the equipment for filmimg and editing. Make a list of what you need and then you can figure out the costs,

It depends lot on actor, shooting places, technology used etc. For eg, generally Shankar takes movies around 25 crores. He spends more on technologies like multiple cameras, special effects. Leading actors salary is in crores, for eg, Kamal Hasan gets around 4-5 crores per movie. So, these factors decide the cost. If u want to make a movie like Seran, I think they are story based and very cost effective. It can be done within a crore.
