A lot has been told about the delay of the hyped film Bheemaa. Some even predicted that the movie may also be shelved for lifetime. But the team of Bheemaa was unperturbed and did their work silently. Vikram Once again has come up with an action packed film for his fans.
Story
The story is about a war between the two underworld mafia gangs trying to outsmart each other. Periyavar’S (Raghuvaran) group is bigger and more powerful, while Chinna (prakash raj group is struggling to gain strength.
Then enters the hero character Shekar(Vikram). He is a powerful man with loads of muscle and wits. He joins Chinna’s gang, which gains strength by his arrival. Shekar is the man who has grown up with Chinna as his ideal. He is a man of steel, like a he-man and is like a Bheema of Mahabharata, who bears the whole power of the Pandavas on his shoulders. Shekar challenges periyavar.
Meanwhile the gangs are targeted by the New Police Commisioner ( Ashish Vidhyarthy)and the three pronged hunting begins.
Linguswamy has worked out a strong script and executed it well. He has handed his cast excellently and also provided equal amounts of entertainment.
Linguswamy also evaded the comedy track as it might have been an irritable bug to the script.
The characterization is perfect and the dialogues are apt to the script as dialogue writer Ramakrishnana, has shaped the characters remarkably well. The relationship between shekar and china is well portrayed.
Direction
However, there are some loop holes in the script as a young boy, who makes china as his ideal is little questionable in many aspects and the reason of taking up the mafia gang\g is not cleared.
Likewise, the director’s handling of the gang war, entwined with police action, is quite smart. But the presentation of love track is not convincing. Love between a mafia goon and a middle class girl is not cleared well. The turning point over the transformation of the protagonist because of his love is indigestible. The climax is also little disappointing.
But still Linguswamy comes up well on the whole
Performances
Vikram has lived up to the macho image of the character ion this film and also is apt to the title Bheemaa. If his hard work to become physically strong is praise worthy, his efforts to transform himself as the character are stunning. His muscle packed arms are a dream of every youngster in the present world. The fights which her performed with ease in the rain and in the construction site (Intermission Point) are astonishing and a highlight.
He is “OK” the romantic sequences also, but his macho image overshadows the romantic taste. On the whole Vikram for his hard work for almost 21 months is worthy and impeccable.

Trisha gets her share in the action movie and succeeds in spreading her charm over the entire film. She looks gorgeous in every song and ravishing with a damm good figure .her eyes and apt expressions are applaudable.
Prakash raj is a highlight to the movie. His character is so powerful that he looks like a second hero. His getup and the character are very much lively to the film and also to the real life world. The versatile has surely bought a new dimension to the character of a gangster.
Ashish Vidhayarthi as a police officer is also significant in the film. His character is also well deserving for appraise and also his acting is well justified accordingly with the character.
Raghuvaran is also perfect to the character,
Overall Bheemaa has lived up to the expectations up to a large extent. Linguswamy and his powerful team have succeeded in presenting an action oriented entertainer.
